Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in making a January swoop for Blackburn playmaker Bradley Dack, after his solid start to the season.

The 24-year-old has been superb for Rovers this season as they've easily settled into life in the Championship and that has drawn scouts to Ewood Park.

The former Gillingham man cost them a bargain £750,000 last season, but has evolved into a potential £10m signing. He's scored six goals in nine Championship games as well as creating a handful as Tony Mowbray's side settle into mid-table.

The Premier League interest is of little surprise, only adding to the reported Leicester City pursuit of the summer, meaning it could be an unhappy New Year's Eve for Mowbray as the transfer window opens.

Would Dack be a success at Spurs? Here are three reasons FLW thinks they should take a gamble on the Greenwich-born midfielder.

He's a good player.

Over and above all, Spurs should sign him because he's quality. He gets forward, he's stepped up to the Championship with ease and he could make an impression at Spurs.

He would be a cheaper alternative to Grealish. The Villa man was linked with a move to Spurs in the summer, but it fell through.

The likelihood is they'd pay £25m for Grealish, whereas Dack is possibly going to come in under that amount.

Spurs played a flat 4-4-2 against Cardiff recently, but favoured a 3-4-2-1 against Huddersfield a couple of weeks before.

Dack would offer the 3-4-2-1 the most impact, sitting as one of two men behind Kane. If they continue to adopt that approach, he would be ideal, much as Grealish would have been
