Blackburn Rovers star Bradley Dack has picked up this season where he left off last time out. He's been creative, offering a goal threat and generally catching the eye of anyone choosing to watch him.

It would appear that the exciting midfielder is being targeted by West Brom in the January window, with a fee of £20m reported in the printed edition of Sunday's Sun newspaper.

That would signal a huge return on the £750,000 that Rovers paid for Dack just over a year ago, in addition to the goals and assists which helped them out of League One at the first time of asking.

With Dack's star only set to rise further, other clubs will surely join the hunt as the season progresses. We feel there would be value in Leeds United going after Dack too.

Here's three reasons we feel Leeds should hijack West Brom's January swoop for the 24-year old.

Dack plays an advanced attacking midfield role and in Bielsa's 4-1-4-1 formation, there's two spots he could occupy, left or right of the advanced four.

He likes to get on and overlap the strikers, allowing a flexibility to go 4-1-3-2 if required. That attacking threat added to Leeds current approach makes them a perfect fit.

He might be touted as a £20m right now, but what price can you put on Premier League promotion? £200m? That makes the outlay now look like small fry if they go up.

Leeds will need a boost in January, they're threadbare as a squad and yet are still in the hunt for automatic promotion. Dack could be the difference between fourth and second, such is the impact of his goals and assists.

Bielsa's philosophy of retaining possession, moving the ball quickly and achieving high intensity is perfectly suited to Dack's attributes, aside from the general formation.

His distribution is excellent, at 24 he's still young and athletic and everything about his overall game screams 'Bielsa' to us. He would be a natural fit into the philosophy, perhaps even more so than that of West Brom.
