West Brom suffered a significant blow earlier in the window as Leicester City decided to recall Harvey Barnes.

The talented winger was a major reason behind Albion's promotion push and had weighed in with nine goals and six assists in the 26 games he played.

As well as that, he impressed with his overall ability on the ball whilst his pace gave the side another positive option.

Therefore, it's fair to say that the Baggies might have to spend big to replace the England U21 international.

But, one man who looks capable of doing such a job is Hull City's Jarrod Bowen, who is emerging as a standout player in the league.

Here we look at THREE reasons why he would be the perfect Barnes replacement at The Hawthorns...

He scores goals

It's extremely difficult to find wide men who regularly chip in with goals but that's what Darren Moore needs to replace.

Yet, Bowen has shown he can do it.

He scored 14 last season, which was an excellent return, but has already hit 13 in this campaign.

He plays in a similar style

The two players are fairly similar when you look at their qualities.

They are both direct, quick and look to get into goalscoring positions.

Given how easily Barnes settled into the West Brom team, you would imagine Bowen would find it simple too as he brings a similar skill-set to the group.

He's only going to get better

Finally, they are both young players who are ready to develop and improve as players.

Moore will want to change the profile of the players at Albion if he can over the next few windows and bringing in players like Barnes, who want to develop, will be the aim.

Bowen falls into that category too and could be a big signing for the club.
