Leeds United secured a big win on Tuesday night as they saw off Reading, however it wasn’t a game to remember for Lewis Baker.
The on-loan Chelsea midfielder was handed a rare start by Marcelo Bielsa but failed to take his opportunity, with the boss taking him off after a poor first-half.
The 23-year-old started the campaign regularly involved in the XI, but game time has been a lot harder to come recently.
Prior to the Royals clash, Baker had been involved in just 25 minutes of action since September 15 which will have frustrated the player.
Clearly, he is not performing in training or on the pitch in the way that the demanding former Marseille manager wants and he came in for criticism from supporters too.
