The race for the last couple of play-off spots in the Championship is on, with Bristol City prime contenders to secure an appearance in the end of season showpiece.

The Robins have been there or there about all season, as well as enjoying an excellent run in the Carabao Cup which ended with a respectable defeat to eventual winners, Manchester City.

Manager Lee Johnson has received many plaudits for his side’s brilliance this term but the young boss will feel that all will have been in vain if his side fail to secure a top six finish.

Whatever happens to the West Country changes are needed in the summer with new quality desired and this trio could emerge as realistic targets in the next few months…

The Dortmund striker has spent the past season in the German second tier with Holstein Kiel, bagging ten goals so far as the minnows go in search of elevation to the German premier division.

The prospect of first team football in Dortmund seems unlikely and Ducksch could be tempted into switching to English football should an offer materialise, a move that Johnson simply must explore.

A striker force of Bobby Reid, Famara Diedhiou and Ducksch reads extremely well and should promotion failed to be secured this term, then that trio should score enough goals between them to ensure the Robins challenge towards the top once again.

Another striker set to be in extremely high demand in the summer, Bozok has bagged over twenty times in the French second tier as Nimes challenge at the top of the table, and clubs across Europe will be keeping close tabs on the 21-year-old Turk.

Having already represented his country at U-21 level, many expect big things from the prolific scorer, with a career in the English game sure to appeal to the player.

Whether the Robins can pip other clubs to the player’s signature remains to be seen, but a career path that takes in Ashton Gate could work wonders, with Diedhiou and Jonathan Kodjia adapting well and forging names for themselves following moves from France.

If Bozok recognises this opportunity, then the Robins have a chance.

Chelsea’ longest serving player is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer despite having never made a first team appearance for the club and Johnson should consider swooping for the player.

Still only twenty-five, Delac has much to prove and could do so in the Championship with a side sure to harbour promotion aspirations once again next year if this term proves a failure.

Frank Fielding and Luke Steele have battled for the number one jersey, but one may move on this summer with a replacement required.

Delac could be that man.
