Birmingham City’s start to the season has been encouraging, with Garry Monk’s side looking to make an impact in the race for the play-offs heading into a crucial festive period.
It was a slow start to the season for Birmingham, but since their victory at Elland Road in September, they’ve been on the rise, moving to a solid mid-table position and on the verge of the play-off race.
Monk’s side head to Villa Park for the Second City derby on Sunday, but ahead of that contest, some worrying transfer news has emerged regarding Che Adams, with the Telegraph reporting that Stoke City are preparing a £5m bid for the 22-year-old.
Adams, who has eight goals and two assists to his name this season, was brought to Birmingham by current Stoke boss Gary Rowett, who is looking to reunite across the Championship.
