Queens Park Rangers were a busy club over summer and with January approaching, they'll be back in the market. But should any QPR players ask for a loan move in January?

A fine 2-0 win at Birmingham City last night boosted QPR into 12th-place - there second consecutive win in the Championship for the first time since October and their second-straight clean sheet.

It's been the best possible start to the month for Warburton who was coming under some pressure towards the end of last month.

Back on track and back in the top-half, QPR look set to have a strong finish to the calendar year - here we take a look at three QPR players who should ask for a loan move in January:

Conor Masterson

QPR fans have been waiting eagerly to see Masterson in action. The 21-year-old joined from Liverpool in the summer and fans expected to see him in the first-team this season, but he's yet to make his debut for the club.

Warburton claims he's not ready for the Championship yet but having said that, could a loan move to lower down in the Football League be on the cards?

He's a name who could feature in the QPR first-team next season and some first-team experience in the second-half of this one would put him in good stead to take a spot in Warburton's eleven.

Lewis Walker

Walker, son of former England defender Des, has been with QPR for over a year now after joining from Derby County for free in November last year.

He made his first-team debut at the back end of last season but hasn't featured for Warburton. The 20-year-old forward has been in prolific form for the development squad this season and he too could benefit from some first-team experience come January.

One of several young strikers that QPR have in their ranks, Walker has this season gained a lot of traction and if he impresses in a potential loan move in the second-half of the campaign, could definitely be involved in Warburton's plans next year.

Osman Kakay

Kakay has spent the first-half of this season on-loan in Scotland with Partick Thistle. The 22-year-old full-back has made a handful of appearances in the Scottish Football League but is due to return to West London next month.

At 22-years-old, Kakay is a representative of the Sierra Leone national team and has been contracted to QPR since 2015 - another name who QPR fans will know and one who's made several appearances for the R's first-team, but still lacks some real experience.

Warburton has been fairly stern with his youngsters this season and Kakay is another who will need to do his time in the development squad before being considered for selection. He could well go out on-loan to another club in the second-half of the season, and a move elsewhere in the Football League would no doubt be a massive help to his development.
