There's plenty to be optimistic about at Loftus Road, but similarly there's plenty to fear.

It must be a confusing time to be a QPR fan right now.

Ian Holloway appears to be putting faith in young players, both those already at the club and in the trialists he's looking at currently.

The days of big-money buys have gone, partly because of the FFP rules but partly due to a change of emphasis.

Millwall and Huddersfield have proven you don't need a massive budget to trouble the top six, something Rangers fans might see as a positive, but fear of falling further behind Brentford will have them hoping deep down, there's an ace up the manager's sleeve.

The bad news is that most of the transfer sagas seem to revolve around players leaving the club, not those coming in. The squad is likely to lose key players and as yet, few rumours are circulating around who might come in.

FLW take a look at the three transfer sagas that are likely to grow over the next few weeks.

Luongo looks to be one of those under rated midfielders set to take the second-tier by storm next season.

He's not being mentioned in the same breath as James Maddison or Ryan Sessegnon. but he could well be the Championships best hidden gem.

He's set to play for the Socceroos this summer in Russia and with clubs already tailing him, the transfer furore could well be set to ignite.

QPR fans won't be happy to hear it, but he's likely to be the subject of intense interest.

Robinson is likely on his way out of Loftus Road, despite good season.

Frustratingly he wouldn't even command a fee, given that his contract is due to expire. There's been no talks with the former Liverpool man and that all points to a summer exit. There will be a bit of debate as to where he goes, but it won't be something the affects QPR one bit.

Manning has only just broken through, but he looks incredibly exciting in the centre of the park and is another who will be attracting scouts to Loftus Road before the end of the season.

He's young, hungry and looks ready to become a strong first-team player at this level or indeed the top flight in Scotland. If QPR's ambition doesn't meet his, he's likely to be on his bike too.
