Grant McCann has suffered an awful run of form with his Hull City side, and they’ve now lost nine of their last 11 matches in the Championship.
It’s a terrible run that has seen them sit just one place above the bottom three, although it’s yet to be decided what will happen after the matches in March were postponed due to the Coronavirus.
Here’s THREE problems that McCann needs to solve at Hull ASAP…

The forward-line has been massively hit after Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki left the club in January, and it has been a big problem in the last few weeks. They need one of their forwards to hit some form over the coming months to ensure that they’re able to stay in the Championship ahead of next season.
Tom Eaves and Malik Wilks are two players that have to shoulder the burden and make sure that they contribute some more goals to help McCann and his side in terms of confidence and results.
The defence has been utterly atrocious in recent weeks and that’s putting it lightly. Conceding four to Leeds United was very poor, but Marcelo Bielsa’s side are top of the table, however the five conceded at relegation rivals Stoke City left supporters very angry and it’s clear to see why.
There seems to be a real lack of defensive organisation and it’s something that has to be sorted as soon as possible otherwise Hull will continue conceding and find themselves playing League One football.
This is the key, many teams who are battling at the bottom of the division need belief to stay in the league, Hull seemingly don’t have any at the moment and will need some in the coming matches to give themselves any chance of survival in the Championship.
If you put your body on the line and believe that you can get results then they will come especially in this division. Someone needs to inspire the side, and make them believe that they can stay in the division.
