Recent reports in The Mirror are suggesting that Leeds United left back Charlie Taylor will leave Elland Road in January with West Bromwich Albion in pole position to land the defender.

Newcastle United are also interested in the Leeds academy product and Premier League duo Liverpool and West Ham were considering moves this summer.

The in-demand full back handed in a transfer request last summer, which was turned down by the club, and a move away from Elland Road was blocked.

But with Taylor's contract due to expire next summer, it could be a case of sell now or lose him for nothing at the end of the season for Garry Monk's men.

Charlie Taylor is rated at £5m and this gives Leeds ample funding to find a replacement.

It will be a big blow to lose the talented former England under-19 international but it might be an inevitability so Leeds will be assessing the market for a left back and here are three suggestions they could look at.

Ben Chilwell

Leicester youngster Ben Chilwell is rated as one of the country's hottest prospects but he could opt for a loan move away from the King Power Stadium in order to get some game time and develop.

The 19-year-old had a promising loan spell at Huddersfield last year and looks ready to be playing regular football in the Championship.

The England under-21 international is an attack-minded full back so he would be like-for-like with Charlie Taylor.

Morgan Fox

Alternatively Leeds could look to bring League One Charlton's left back to Elland Road.

Morgan Fox has impressed during his time in Charlton's first team and has played over 100 times for the Addicks - most of them coming in the Championship.

The 23-year-old was chased by West Ham in the summer so the former Wales under-21 man is clearly a talent playing below himself in League One at the moment.

Ludwig Augustinsson

The other option Leeds could explore is to dip into the foreign market.

Ludwig Augustinsson is in high demand but Leeds can offer him the chance to play in England and be part of a promotion chasing campaign.

The 22-year-old is already a regular in Sweden's senior side and might be tempted away from FC Kobehavn if Leeds put in a good offer this January.
