Striker
Since Jordi Hiwula has left the club to join Walsall on loan until the end of the season and James Vaughan on loan at Birmingham City until his contract runs out, Huddersfield is very short on striking options.
Nahki Wells has been in excellent form with 14 league goals for the West Yorkshire side, but if he was to pick up an injury then Huddersfield could be caught out.
Ishmael Miller is a potential option however he has a stop-start season caused by injuries, he also doesn't seem to really fit David Wagner's style and I'll be surprised if he remains at the club beyond this season.
Another potential striker at David Wagner's disposal is Flo Bojaj. The Albanian striker has made 6 appearances for the club and has featured frequently for the Under 21 side, however, he is still early in his career and David Wagner will n0t want to expose him to too much too soon.
Aside from Wells, Miller and Bojaj as the option from the academy, that's it for strikers at the club. David Wagner may turn to Germany or continentally to bring in a striker or he may look to bring in a striker that he wants to sign permanently and this would be the perfect opportunity for them to get to grips with David Wagner's footballing philosophy.
