It's been one of the busiest transfer windows in recent memory for Wolves, as new owners and a new manager have enabled them to delve into the transfer market on plenty of occasions over the summer.

Big names have been linked and some big names have arrived, with the likes of Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Joao Teixeira looking like being successful signings already.

Wolves are bound to be linked with more players today and tomorrow, and will no doubt be pushing right up to the deadline to get any last minute deals over the line and aid Walter Zenga in his quest for promotion at Molineux.

Teams like Wolves will always be looking to strengthen across the pitch, and with the funds now available, there is a high chance we could see further incomings by 11:30pm tomorrow.

Here, FLW writer Lee Connor takes a look at THREE players Wolves should sign by the end of transfer deadline day...

Britt Assombalonga

With Nottingham Forest already selling Oliver Burke, alarm bells are ringing that those in charge at the City Ground might well be open to selling a few more of their saleable assets come tomorrow.

One of those assets is Brit Assombalonga, one of the most lethal strikers in the league who on his day is unstoppable.

The powerful front-man would not come cheap, and Forest fans would no doubt be up in arms at the sale, but with Wolves having serious financial clout, a move for the former Peterborough man would seem too unlikely.

Matty James

The experienced Leicester midfielder is well out of contention at the King Power Stadium, and is set to play in the Checkatrade Trophy tonight for the Leicester Under-23 squad against Sheffield United.

James is a class act in the middle of the park, and would bring some steel and class to the centre of the park at Molineux.

With Leicester embarking on a Champions League campaign and looking to defend their Premier League title, a move for James by the time tomorrow is done does not look too unlikely.

Serge Gnabry

The pacey German had an impressive Olympics for his national team, but does not seem to feature in Arsene Wenger's plans going forward.

Gnabry though is a talent, and his pace and trickery out wide could well be of use for Wolves as they battle towards the top six and automatic promotion.

If Wolves could manage to get Gnabry though the door, he could be the ideal signing to take them to the next level.
