Wolves enjoyed a decent transfer window, despite selling star man Benik Afobe, they managed to make a few additions with the most notable being Joe Mason and Mike Williamson.

Kenny Jackett though, and probably Wolves fans, will have been disappointed not to see a few more names come in with the money which was generated from Afobe.

They did however manage to keep hold of star winger Van La Parra, and have offered him a new contract today on the back of that successful outcome during the window.

All in all though, Wolves fans will have wanted more. Another goal threat would have been ideal as they look to replace the goals of Afobe, and with Jordan Graham picking up a serious injury over Christmas, it could have been expected that a replacement for him could have been considered.

Here, I look at THREE players Wolves should have looked to sign on deadline day......

Frazier Campbell

The Crystal Palace front man was deemed surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park and would have been someone Wolves fans would have looked at.

He has pace and an eye for goal, and could have been the ideal replacement for the outgoing Afobe.

A move in the loan window could still be an option for the Molineux men, but Campbell will not be short of suitors should he choose to move, and Kenny Jackett will have to act quickly and convincingly in order to sign the former Cardiff man.

Zach Clough

clough7222

The Bolton youngster was on the radar of many a club during the window, but ultimately chose to stay with his hometown club as they continue their fight against relegation to League One.

The 20-year-old could have been tempted to make the move with all the turmoil at the Macron Stadium of late, and this will be seen as an opportunity missed to bring in one of the leagues most exciting talents.

There is little chance now of signing the playmaker on loan, and any move will have to wait until the summer, where, if Clough helps Bolton survive, his value will more than likely have increased further.

Bradley Dack

dack33

The subject of a rejected £2m bid from Bristol City, Dack has been the standout player in League One this term with a collection of fine goals and assists to his name.

Wolves have delved in to the League One market before, signing Kevin McDonald from Sheffield United, who has proved to be a roaring success.

If they could have had a bid for Dack accepted, it is highly unlikely he would have rejected their advances and turned down the opportunity to play Championship football. Dack will now continue to ply his trade with the Gills, and Kenny Jackett, along with a host of other managers, will no doubt regret not getting the in form man away from the Priestfield Stadium.
