Wigan play hosts to Burton Albion on Saturday in what could be a key game in deciding the outcome of relegation come the end of the season.

If Wigan are to win this game, Will Grigg will need to be on form as they don't have many other sources of goals.

Lucas Akins

Akins already has 3 goals to his name this season but Burton will need more from him if they are to stay up this season.

Akins' pace in behind could be a worry for Wigan as none of their backline are blessed with pace.

If Burton can get Akins isolated against Dan Burn, he could be a key figure in deciding this game.

Burton could be soaking up a lot of pressure in the game and if they can counter quickly on Wigan they could reap the rewards of Akins' quality.

Jackson Irvine

Irvine is Burton Albion's top scorer so far this season with five goals to his name already.

His goal scoring ability from central midfield could be crucial in the outcome of this game, he will want to continue his goal scoring form.

Playing against a struggling, Wigan team represents the perfect opportunity.
