West Bromwich Albion made some strong early-window moves but still look as though they could do with one or two more players through the door before the market closes on the 1st of September.

A permanent deal for Jayson Molumby and the free agent pickup of Okay Yokuslu will add more steel in midfield while we saw the sort of impact that John Swift and Jed Wallace are capable of having in the final third against Middlesbrough.

Those are four impressive additions but there are still parts of the squad that could do with strengthening.

With that in mind, we've highlighted three players that should be on the Championship club's transfer radar as the end of the window approaches...

Liam Delap

Daryl Dike's injury issues last term should serve as a warning to Albion as Kenneth Zohore is the only other out-and-out number in the senior squad.

The loan market can help the Baggies draft in another striker and Manchester City's Liam Delap is someone that could be on the move.

The Athletic report that a loan could be sanctioned for the 19-year-old, with Stoke City one of multiple Championship clubs interested.

Delap's goalscoring record at age-group level is outstanding and he has not looked out of place when given chances in Pep Guardiola's senior side.

He could an ideal addition to provide some cover and competition for Dike this term and is a player that needs to be on the club's radar.

Nathan Broadhead

Not as young and not quite as highly rated as Delap, Everton forward Nathan Broadhead is another option worth considering.

He scored some vital goals for Sunderland in their promotion push last season, finishing with 13 in 27 games, and now looks ready to prove himself in the Championship.

Everton are said to be resisting permanent offers but may make a decision over a loan destination soon, which Albion could take advantage of.

He would certainly be a different type of forward to Dike but that would be no bad thing for the Baggies.

Kjell Scherpen

Bruce's current goalkeeping options are David Button and Alex Palmer, with the Baggies opting not to replace Sam Johnstone yet this summer.

That's a risky move. Button played for much of last term but is still yet to really show he's a keeper capable of playing a part in a promotion push while Pamer is something of an unknown quantity at this level despite some impressive loan spells.

Drafting in a third option would seem to make sense and Brighton's Kjell Scherpen should be on their radar.

The 6ft8ins shot-stopper enjoyed a strong loan spell in the Jupiler League with Oostende in the second half of last season and is understood to be regarded as a player with a bright future.

Birmingham City were reportedly deemed a poor fit for him earlier this summer but The Hawthorns may be a more attractive destination.
