Norwich City will be looking to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat that they suffered at the hands of Cardiff City last weekend when they host Wigan Athletic at Carrow Road.

Ahead of Saturday's clash, the Canaries have managed to bolster their squad by securing the services of Marcelino Nunez on a permanent deal.

The Chile international joined Norwich yesterday for an undisclosed fee from Universidad Catolica.

Having now made three signings this summer, it will be interesting to see whether the Canaries engage in any further transfer activity in the coming weeks.

Here, we have decided to take a look at three players who should be on Norwich's transfer radar as the September 1st deadline looms...

If Norwich are looking to secure the services of a striker who will be able to provide some much-needed competition for Teemu Pukki, they ought to consider making a move for Lewis Grabban.

Certainly no stranger to Carrow Road, Grabban scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 44 appearances for the Canaries during his previous spell at the club.

Having opted to leave Nottingham Forest, the forward is currently on the lookout for a new club.

When you consider that Grabban was directly involved in 16 goals in the Championship last season, it is abundantly clear that he is still capable of thriving at this level and thus he would prove to be a good addition to Norwich's squad.

Matt Ritchie

In order to provide Pukki with a sufficient amount of service this season, Norwich may need to strengthen their options in the wide areas of the pitch.

One of the individuals who could potentially help the club achieve a great deal of success in the Championship is Matt Ritchie.

In a recent interview with GIVEMESPORT, Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie revealed that the winger could leave Newcastle United this summer.

Given that Ritchie has scored 36 goals and has provided 28 assists in the second-tier during his career, it wouldn't be at all surprising if he goes on to excel at Norwich if they opt to swoop for him.

Amad Diallo

Another player who should be on Norwich's transfer radar is Manchester United winger Amad Diallo.

In an interview with CaughtOffside, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that he believes the Red Devils will be looking to loan out Diallo before the end of the transfer window.

Diallo spent the second-half of the 2021/22 campaign at Rangers.

Although the winger did lack consistency in this particular loan spell, he still managed to find the back of the net on three occasions in the Scottish Premiership.

By learning from Dean Smith's guidance at Norwich, Diallo could potentially make considerable strides in terms of his development.
