Birmingham City have been linked with the signing of Dundee forward Greg Stewart.

The Blues are reportedly preparing a £250,000 bid for the Scotsman, who can play anywhere along the front line.

Stewart has spent the last two seasons in the Scottish Premiership where he has scored 22 goals in that time. If he is to join the side then everybody connected with the club will be hoping that he can transfer his form into English football.

Stewart would become the side's fourth signing of the summer. These signings include Ryan Shotton and Robert Tesche.

Birmingham fans will be hoping that the signings will not stop there as they look to build on their successful season under Gary Rowett last season.

FLW writer Tom Rawcliffe identifies THREE players who could follow Greg Stewart to Birmingham...

One player who Birmingham are interested in signing is Sheffield United forward Che Adams.

After seeing their first bid, which was worth £1.2 million, rejected they have now tabled a second offer to the Blades, this time much closer to their valuation of the starlet.

The 20-year-old striker had a remarkable season last campaign, where he scored 12 goals and assisted a further 6.

If Adams were to sign, then City would have own one of the hottest prospects in the Football League.

Juan Villar

Another player who Birmingham have been reported to be interested in signing is Spanish winger Juan Villar.

The 28-year-old plays in the Segunda Division in Spain for Real Valladolid and he massively impressed last season, despite the side only achieving a 16th placed finish.

He managed to score 15 goals for the White and Violets, and assisted a further 7.

The winger can also play up top and his versatility on top of his ability could set the league alight.

Leandro Cabrera

The centre-back, who is currently on the books of Real Zaragoza, has spent the last 7 seasons in Spain but he could be looking for a new challenge in England.

Cabrera also spent the last season in the Segunda Division, where he made 35 appearances helping his side to keep 14 clean sheets.
