What is needed at Leeds United is a root and stem rebuild of the club from the bottom up and a strong leader to manage the Yorkshire giants.

Well, they one as it is but it doesn't look as if he'll be sticking around long.

Whites boss Steve Evans is widely expected to leave the club, as much as he doesn't want to, as he won't be offered a new deal by Massimo Cellino.

It's a strange decision of course. While the Scotsman is barely pulling up trees, he might represent a good long-term option to change the culture of the club.

Obviously, Cellino doesn't think so.

So, with Evans departing, what about the squad?

Many of the players look like they are coming to the end of their time at Elland Road as the club embarks on yet another season in the second tier with little hope of a promotion push.

What individuals in particular? Well, see who we here at FLW think could follow Evans out the door.

Giuseppe Bellusci

Giuseppe Bellusci

As popular as the hard nosed Italian defender was at the club, Giuseppe Bellusci has proved to be rather blunder prone this season more than ever.

The 26-year old cannot be relied upon and is reportedly attracting interest from back in Italy.

Scott Wootton

Scott Wootton is versatile enough to play across the midfield and the defence, though fails to wholly convince in either role.

He's indicative of the malaise the Whites currently find themselves marooned in, not the standard required though has been left to stagnate far too long.

Lewis Cook

Unlike the two previously mentioned, Cook's departure would be hard for even the most eternal of optimists to put a good spin on.

Still, such is the nature of excitement around the 18-year old, the proverbial vultures are thought to be circling as Leeds continue to struggle in the second tier of English football.
