As Francesco Guidolin is still relatively unfamiliar with his new side, he may look to use the emergency loan window to shape his side to his own liking.

The transition from Garry Monk to Francesco Guidolin has seen Swansea stop the free fall towards relegation, but they are still at the heart of the pack just above the relegation places.

For Guidolin, he will be pleased that he has inherited such a talented deep squad which he could use at his disposal however he may look to loan out some of his young stars to continue their development also as they may not have the necessary experience or guile needed for a relegation scrap.

Guidolin may feel that loaning them out will be mentally beneficial whilst also offering invaluable experience, the opportunity for regular first team football and how to cope with the pressure of having to play at a consistently high level.

As we reach the final two months of the season, Championship clubs are now looking for an astute signing or a coup in the emergency loan market that can make an instant impact and give them edge in the run in.

As injuries and suspensions build, short term loans are the perfect answer and can make all the difference.

This article looks at THREE players that could leave Swansea to join a Championship club before the emergency loan window deadline....................

Modou Barrow

A player that will be on many Championship clubs' radars after his two spells in the Championship at Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers in Modou Barrow.

The Gambian international joined Swansea from Östersunds FK on the 30th August 2014, and has since made 24 appearances for the Swans under Garry Monk after Nathan Dyer's loan move to Leicester City.

Barrow impresses as a wide player with pace and power and trickery which would make him an exciting signing for any Championship side, and would have fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation.

One of Modou Barrow's most impressive feature is surprisingly strong upper body strength which coupled with his raw pace and dribbling ability makes him extremely difficult to stop, he also is very direct and makes life uncomfortable for opposing defenders to stop him having an impact on the game.

Despite his clear ability, he is far from the finished product, his displeasure of tracking back and offering support for the full back behind him makes him a defensive liability and a luxury player to have in the side, he also has questionable end product with some of his final passes and his decision making is often lacking.

However with more experience and maturity, these flaws will lessen and a move to a Championship club on a temporary basis with regular first team football could be the start of that transition from being a future Swansea star to cementing his place in the starting line-up.

Kyle Bartley

Kyle Bartley99000

Easily the most experienced of the three players that are mentioned in this article is Kyle Bartley.

Having come through Arsenal's academy, Bartley was tipped as a future international but his career at Arsenal was short lived with loan spells at Sheffield United and Rangers leading to Swansea signing him permanently.

Since joining the Welsh club, he has made 16 appearances in four years and has also spent a period of time out on loan in the Championship at Birmingham City.

Although Bartley has made six appearances for Swansea this season, he was appreciated by Monk more than by Guidolin and as he has fallen down the pecking order, he may look for a loan move to give him more time on the pitch with the Championship being the most likely place for him to find that.

Known for his pace, power and athleticism, he has the physical attributes built to thrive in a hard competitive environment like the Championship. Also as part of a Swansea set up, he has drastically improved on the ball as an excellent ball-playing centre-half that can pick a pass and step out of defence to launch counter attacks and transitions from deep.

As a well-rounded centre half, he is a rarity and if he available then Bartley would be an ideal signing for any Championship side and if he is deemed surplus to requirements then the loan spell could be his best opportunity to find a new club.

Jay Fulton

The final player that could potentially leave the Swans to a Championship side is Jay Fulton.

The young midfielder joined Swansea from Falkirk for roughly £200,000 having been a highly sought after and one of the most promising talents in Scotland.

As a Scotland U21 international having featured for the national side in every age group other than at senior level, Fulton's potential and talent had been appreciated internationally and it gave him the confidence and belief to make the leap from the Scottish Championship to the Premier League.

Since his arrival, he has made four appearances for Swansea in the Premier League, however, he has yet to feature in the 2015-16 season which led to his 93 day loan at Oldham Athletic.

Fulton is an energetic box to box midfielder that is a willing worker and a willing runner which is one of his more impressive attributes. He is also known for having a good attitude and mentality and also physicality and comfort on the ball makes him a well rounded midfielder that would slot into any side in the Championship.

Although Fulton's ultimate aspiration is to play for Swansea in the Premier League, he may feel another short successful loan spell at a higher level than that of Oldham Athletic and League 1, preferably in the Championship could be the catalyst to spring his Swansea career to life and help him breakthrough into the first team.
