Reading have had a great start to the season, under the new management of former Man United defender Jaap Stam.
Stam was appointed as Reading boss following the sacking of Brian McDermott, 12 new players arrived at the Madejski Stadium, including the likes of Tyler Blackett, Liam Moore and Callum Harriott.
After 2 consecutive seasons of disappointment, in which Reading fans saw their side finish in the bottom half of the Championship, Jaap Stam appears to have turned Reading’s fortunes around, and has brought consistency back to the Mad Stad.
Reading are hoping to return to the Premier League within the next few seasons, as Stam builds his own squad.
They’ve not competed in the Premier League since 2013, when they were relegated from the top flight under Nigel Adkins.
