QPR had a less than impressive 2015/2016 campaign after finishing in 12th place in the Championship, while realistically the players that they possessed should have been pushing towards the top 6.

Chris Ramsey endured a poor first half of the season and was relieved of his duties after falling short of expectations.

Dutch legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink came into the QPR frame during December with a good managerial record for Burton Albion, and enthusiastic to set himself a challenge at the West London club to rectify their season.

The proposition of a top 6 place may have been too ambitious last year, but they are well within their rights to aim high this season and return as a Premier League club.

Hasselbaink was only given half a season and was given the benefit of the doubt by the supporters, however it will be this season that his capabilities in the dugout will be judged.

The Dutchman has made several additions to his side during the summer, but with his close relations with Chelsea, there could be an opportunity to persuade the club to offload their fringe players to the Championship side.

Football League World Writer, Ashley Williams identifies THREE players QPR could cherry-pick from Chelsea....

Victor Moses

After losing Matt Phillips to West Brom in the summer, the West London club will be on the hunt for a similar player, and Victor Moses could prove to be the perfect replacement.

Whether Moses will drop down to the Championship is debatable, but there is no harm in enquiring about the availability of the winger.

Plenty of high profile wingers dropped down to the Championship last year, including Aiden McGeady who joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the second half of the season.

It is certainly worth of a punt about a season long-loan deal for Moses.

Marco Van Ginkel

Marco Van GinkelMarco Van Ginkeld

Van Ginkel spent the first half of the 2015-16 season on loan at Stoke City, but returned to his native Netherlands in January to link up with PSV Eindhoven, playing a crucial role in the club's Eredivisie title success.

The Dutch champions are hopeful of bringing the player back, but QPR should challenge the Dutch champions for the midfielder.

Chelsea would suit a loan move rather than a permanent move, which PSV are looking for.

The signing of the Dutch midfielder would bring that spark back into the centre of the park that was severely lacking last season.

Van Ginkel could be the difference whether QPR push for promotion or endure another mid-table finish.

Lucas Piazon

Lucas Piazonm

The Chelsea play maker spent last season on loan at Reading FC and did fairly well with the Berkshire club.

Since the midfielder joined Chelsea, he has only made a handful of first team appearances and is expected to be frozen out by new Italian boss, Antonio Conte.

Piazon is a very tricky player with an excellent left foot and would get QPR fans off their feet whenever he gets on the ball.

The Brazilian scored 5 goals in 27 appearances for Reading FC last year, and would be a good player for the West London side next year.
