The Northern Irish international has been a frustrated figure as he has only made three appearances for Norwich this season, two of which were in the Capital One Cup and the FA Cup.
It seems odd considering that he was a huge part of Northern Ireland’s against the odds qualification to the European Championship, having scored seven goals sharing the same company as Wayne Rooney and Gareth Bale and yet domestically he is isolated.
Lafferty would be an ideal signing for any Championship side as he has the physicality needed to bully and battle against tough defenders, week in and week out and also has an eye for goal which could be different for a playoff spot or even automatic promotion.
There had been rumours in the winter transfer window that Lafferty would move to Leeds United, however, the move didn’t materialise.
As this being the last opportunity for the striker to find regular first team football, he may look to move to keep him sharp and in his best form before the European Championships in the summer.
