Mark Warburton has become Nottingham Forest’s tenth manager in five years and has the task of keeping the Reds in the Sky Bet Championship, with them currently only two points away from the relegation zone.
The former Brentford and Rangers boss is a shrewd appointment by chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi, who has faced plenty of criticism in recent times after the collapse of a takeover by a US consortium.
But the Kuwaiti businessman has now appointed Warburton and his assistant David Weir as well as Frank McParland, who has worked with Warburton before, as the club’s new Director of Football.
If the Reds are to stay up then the former Brentford boss will have the entire summer to build his side, with owner and chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi already revealing that he will back the new boss with signings.
