The Sky Bet Championship is one of the toughest leagues to survive in, let alone to try and get promotion from.

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy is well aware of this as a seasoned manager, and knows how to get teams out of the division and into the Premier League.

The Tractor Boys are currently sixth in the league following a 1-0 win at MK Dons on Saturday, which was their fourth win in six matches.

This season could well be the one for Ipswich to claim their place in England's top division.

However, they might need to make a few additions to the current squad to cope with the rigours of Championship football, certainly with the genuine possibility of extra games in the play-offs.

They could look to the Premier League for recruits, and Tottenham Hotspur could have a few hidden gems for Ipswich to take on.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Anthony Yeo identifies three players from the Spurs squad who could be a huge benefit to the Tractor Boys...

Kyle Walker-Peters

The attacking full back who scores goals would be an exceptional player in the Championship.

Some think he is ready for the first team squad at Spurs.

Unfortunately for him, Spurs have top quality full-backs already, such as Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, so a change of scenery and the chance to get some first team football under his belt could appeal to the young defender.

It would be extremely unlikely that a permanent transfer would be on the cards but a loan for the remainder of the season would probably appeal to him, and Ipswich could be the perfect destination.

Alex Pritchard

Alex is an attacking midfielder who is creative and possesses an eye for goal.

Goals from all parts of the team are vital in the Championship and getting a midfielder who can create as well as score would be invaluable, certainly for a team like Ipswich who are chasing promotion.

Alex spent last season on loan at Championship club Brentford, scoring 12 goals, and was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.

Without doubt, this lad has talent and surely McCarthy would love to add him to his squad.

Emmanuel Sonupe

Emmanuel Sonupe is a fast right sided striker who can play on the wing as well.

He has yet to make a first team appearance for Tottenham.

I don't his future is at Tottenham with players of Harry Kane's ability in front of him, but with first team football he could develop into a quality player in his own right.

He would be a great impact player unknown to Championship defences and could turn a game at a vital time.
