Plenty of focus has been on Aston Villa this summer and as things stand the spotlight does not appear to be budging anywhere right now.

The men from Villa Park have been scrutinised greatly this summer and not for reasons they'll like with their financial woes being well-documented.

That, of course, seems to have been addressed with new investment at the club but it looks as though changes might be afoot with Thierry Henry heavily linked with the job.

Indeed, the Daily Star has been reporting that the Frenchman has agreed to take the role on in what would be his first foray into senior club management.

With that in mind, then, we're taking a look at three players he should look to sign if and when he arrives at the club...

Josh Windass is a player who'll give everything for the Villa shirt and is someone who does possess decent quality.

He knows what it is like to play for a big club with him currently at Rangers and though he is perhaps not at Jack Grealish's level, he'd offer creativity and industry in behind a main forward.

Sheyi Ojo is a player that doesn't seem quite ready to play for Liverpool on a regular basis and so a loan deal away would make sense.

He knows the Championship from his days with Fulham and Villa should be able to afford him even if the deal is not permanent.

Henry will surely want to use his contacts at Arsenal to try and improve the Villa side.

Arsene Wenger obviously isn't there anymore but Henry will know the set-up at the Emirates and should look to try and bring in Nketiah.

He's a good young player with the ability to grow and would bolster Villa's attacking options.
