Cardiff are in a difficult situation at the moment due to being placed under a Transfer Embargo, and owe debts just under £6 million that puts fears of administration among the club.

They have been forced to offload players such Kenwyne Jones in order to balance the books at the club, and now they are close to losing another striker in Joe Mason to Wolves.

The Bluebirds are under strict restrictions that they are unable to buy players, and will need to dip into the loan market if they are to add to their squad.

The fans' ambitious hopes of achieving a dream return to the Premier League seems to be slowly slipping away from their grasps.

The South Wales side are currently unbeaten in their last two previous games, but failing to put away struggling teams like Rotherham United is proving frustrating for the supporters.

Russell Slade has already brought in Lex Immers on loan from Feyenoord, but desperately needs further players to please the board and fans.

Fraizer Campbell

Crystal Palace added Emmanuel Adebayor to their side this week, and that leaves the former Bluebirds forward questioning his place in the side.

Campbell was a breath of fresh air when he arrived at the Cardiff City stadium during their promotion to the Premier League a few years ago.

Cardiff are in serious demand for a striker and Campbell could be the perfect option for the financially troubled side.

The striker is surely down the pecking order at Selhurst Park now, and a move wouldn't be too hard for Cardiff to make, surely?

Jerome Sinclair

The young Liverpool forward has made his feelings perfectly clear to the Merseyside club, after expressing his desire to move in the window.

Due to the age of the player, his wages would not be too extortionate and he would be a great addition to the Championship.

The 19-year-old has shown what he can do and impressed during Liverpool’s FA Cup tie in Exeter.

He also scored for Liverpool Under-21s against Tottenham on Monday night.

His youth and enthusiasm could be exactly what Cardiff City need, to help them battle for the coveted play-off spots in the Sky Bet Championship.

Reece Oxford

Reece Oxford

The schoolboy who silenced Mesut Ozil - Reece Oxford made his Premier League debut against Arsenal in the first game of the season, yet excelled in an unfamiliar defensive midfield role.

A temporary move would provide the youngster with invaluable experience in the Championship with Cardiff.

Oxford has mainly played with the under-21’s this season, but will want to prove himself at a competitive level.

The Championship seems about the right level for the West Ham United player, and a loan move would provide him with some much needed  first-team experience.
