It looks like it will be a busy summer at Elland Road with wholesale changes to the squad likely after Garry Monk was made manager.

The controversial chairman Massimo Cellino is still at the helm despite nearly selling the club to a fan group in the middle of the season, but chose to pull out at the last minute.

Monk will undoubtedly be looking to bolster the club's frontline, with the club releasing striker Mirco Antenucci, meaning there is a void that needs to be filled.

Cellino will surely provide Monk with the necessary funds to secure some signings, so here are THREE pacey strikers the club could sign this summer.....

Dwight Gayle

The young Crystal Palace striker has struggled ever since moving there from Peterborough for big money.

Whilst he is still relatively young has has been unable to hold down a regular starting place and Palace are likely to bring in more strikers over the summer, pushing Gayle further down the pecking order.

Gayle is best known for his time at Palace where he scored two late goals against Liverpool to kill their title chances, but happy moments like this are few and far between and his time at Selhurst Park has been laden by injury and inconsistency.

James Wilson

The young Manchester United striker is another hot property being pursued by a number of Premier League and Championship sides, with a loan move most likely.

He has spent a lot of his time at United on loan as when he plays for the U21 side at Old Trafford, he looks a cut above and needs first team football to nurture his ability and potential.

He has represented England at youth level and knows what the Championship is like, and can be a lethal finisher and would be a good move for Leeds.

Tom Bradshaw

Another striker heavily sought after by Championship clubs is Walsall star Tom Bradshaw, who almost led them to promotion to the Championship this season.

The 23-year-old scored 17 goals this season and 17 before that including an impressive hat trick against Nottingham Forest in the cup.

His goals almost led Walsall to promotion but they narrowly missed out on promotion and ended up losing to Barnsley in the play-offs.
