Middlesbrough returned to winning ways after a 2-0 victory against Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday night.

Boro's impressive unbeaten run had come to an end last weekend with a 1-0 defeat at Norwich City, but goals from George Saville and Britt Assombalonga secured the North East side their fifth win of the campaign.

Tony Pulis' men will be hopeful of another victory this weekend, as an out-of-form Swansea City travel to the Riverside of the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Stoke City in midweek.

Middlesbrough will look to extend their winning run to gain momentum on 1st placed Leeds United this weekend, and things are looking up for Pulis' side as they look to mount another promotion push this season.

Here, we take a look at the starting lineup Pulis could field against Swansea City this weekend...

Randolph has been an everpresent for Boro in goal this term, and there is no reason why that should change on Saturday afternoon.

Pulis' preferred system in recent weeks has been a 3-5-2, and Flint has been a solid addition for Boro following his arrival from Bristol City in the summer

Ayala is another player who looks nailed on to retain his place in the Boro lineup after a string of impressive performances

Friend completes an unchanged back three after an impressive, solid performance against Bolton in midweek.

Shotton has done well when operating in a wing-back position, and adds presence and power to Boro's attack when called upon.

Saville marked his Boro debut with a goal as well as a very impressive performance on Wednesday night, and the summer signing from Millwall will look to make a huge impact on Boro's promotion hopes this term.

Holding the midfield trio is 29-year old Clayton, who has been a consistent player for Boro in his five-year stint with the North East club.

The first change Pulis could look to make is Mo Besic in for Jonny Howson.

The Bosnian came off the bench and put in a good performance on Wednesday night, and having played a lot of games in a short space of times, it might do Howson good to sit on the bench this weekend.

Another change Pulis may look to make is Sam McQueen in for Stewart Downing.

A natural left-back, the Southampton loanee came off the bench to make his Boro debut on Wednesday night, and is as good at going forward as he is at tracking back.

Hugill was another player who made his first league start for Pulis' side on Wednesday night, and the West Ham United loanee will look to get off the mark in Boro colours as he looks to replicate his goalscoring form from his Preston North End days.

The final change could come in the form of Britt Assombalonga for Martin Braithwaite.

The 25-year old came off the bench to net only his third goal of the season on Wednesday night, and will now be looking to kick on and build on his impressive tally of 15 goals from last term.
