Despite making real strides on the pitch in the 2018/19 campaign, it is shaping up to be a summer of uncertainty for all concerned with Swansea City.

The Welsh club finished in a respectable 10th spot in the Sky Bet Championship table, with Graham Potter working wonders amid financial problems off the pitch.

Having done such a good job thus far, the Swans could be set to lose their manager to Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, who sacked Chris Hughton last week.

And now, to add even more salt to the wounds, Brighton, as well as Sheffield United, are reportedly interested in signing Oli McBurnie in the summer.

The 22-year old has been one of Swansea's standout performers this season, scoring 24 goals in 47 games for Potter's side, and is now rightfully attracting interest from the top-flight.

Here, we take a look at three replacements that Swansea should consider if they lose their star striker.

Tom Eaves

Eaves could be a perfect replacement for McBurnie.

A tall, physical forward like the Scottish international, the 27-year old has scored an impressive 22 goals in 50 appearances for League One strugglers Gillingham this season.

He is entering his prime years, and is surely worth a punt.

Mallik Wilks

Wilks has endured a hugely impressive campaign on loan with Doncaster Rovers on loan from Leeds United.

The 20-year old, who has made just one senior appearance for the Whites, has scored 16 goals and produced nine assists for Grant McCann's side this term.

It remains to be seen whether Marcelo Bielsa will be given a chance to impress in the first-team at Elland Road, but if not, then Swansea should definitely pounce.

Kieffer Moore

Moore has also endured a fantastic season with Barnsley, helping the Tykes win automatic promotion to the Championship.

The towering forward scored 19 goals and produced four assists for Daniel Stendel's men, and has since been attracting interest from Bristol City.

A physical, hard-working striker, he'd be a perfect fit at the Liberty Stadium.
