Derby County fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Fulham last night in what was another struggle for goalkeeper Kelle Roos.

The Dutch stopper forced his way into the Rams side under Frank Lampard last season and his impressive form meant he kept Scott Carson out of the team.

Whilst a howler in the play-off final to Aston Villa will standout to some, anyone who saw the keeper play last season will have seen how well he played.

However, for whatever reason, he hasn't been able to recapture that form and he didn't cover himself in glory at Craven Cottage for any of the goals and dealing with crosses remains a major problem.

Therefore, signing a new number one may be a priority for Phillip Cocu and here we look at THREE names who should be on his radar...

John Ruddy

The experienced keeper is out of contract at Wolves in the summer and is not going to get any game time unless Rui Patricio gets injured.

His contract situation means Wanderers may accept a small fee and he would be exactly what the Rams need. He is a winner in this league, reliable and would be an upgrade on Roos.

Wayne Hennessey

This is the most ambitious of the three but Hennessey has to think about Euro 2020 with Wales.

Whilst his performances under Ryan Giggs mean he's probably guaranteed a start in the tournament even if he stays on Crystal Palace's bench, he may want a move to get regular football leading up to the finals. So, a loan could suit all parties.

Adam Davies

Stoke's summer signing is third choice at the bet365 Stadium but he was outstanding for Barnsley last season.

It was a coup for the Potters to pick him up at the time so even though he hasn't played he would still be a good signing for Derby and again, he would surely welcome the move to get minutes.
