The January transfer window is a week old already and there's already been plenty of activity.

Plenty of clubs in the Championship have already made moves to strengthen their squads ahead of the second half of the season - something which seems to be having a knock-on effect on the rest of the division.

Middlesbrough have already been one of the most active after signing Patrick Roberts and Lukas and Nmecha on loan from Manchester City.

There could be more coming through the doors at the Riverside Stadium, but likewise, we're expecting some to be heading the other way.

Here are some of the players who are expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.

Darren Randolph

It's a deal that's all-but done as West Ham look to bring the 32-year-old to East London.

Randolph has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers outside of the Premier League, and with 18 months left on his contract it seems that now is the ideal time for Middlesbrough to cash in on the stopper.

Reports have suggested that he'll move for £4million - a fee that is respectable for a player of his age and position.

Marcus Browne

It hasn't been the best start for Marcus Browne at Middlesbrough.

The former West Ham youngster has been unable to establish himself in Jonathan Woodgate's first team with a lack of discipline on the pitch stopping him from taking his opportunities amid all of the injury concerns.

Woodgate admitted that Browne would be allowed to leave on loan this month as he looks to get more first team experience.

How much attention have you paid to Middlesbrough this season? Let's find out!

Marc Bola

Another player who it hasn't quite happened for.

Bola arrived from Blackpool over the summer and was tipped to be the player who would be trained to replace George Friend at left back.

A lack of form - combined with some wonderful performances from Hayden Coulson - has left him in the wilderness, meaning that the 22-year-old will also be allowed to leave for a loan move.
