Leeds United have emerged as one of the clubs that are targeting a deal to being Fulham youngster, Matt O'Riley to Elland Road according to Sky Sports.

The midfielder has been impressive for the Fulham academy sides this season and it will come as no surprise to hear clubs interested in signing him.

Leeds face a tough task if they are to land his signature though, as it was also revealed that Dortmund, Norwich and Celtic are also eyeing a swoop for the talented youngster.

There will be reservations about Leeds potentially signing O'Riley as he isn't proven in senior football as of yet, but it remains to be seen as to whether the Whites would be able to strike a deal for him this month.

Many supporters will feel that there are better options out there in the transfer market, and Marcelo Bielsa could be tempted to look at alternatives to O'Riley.

But who should Leeds be targeting a deal for instead this month?

Find out below....

Romaine Sawyers

The Brentford attacking midfielder has been a rare bright spark in a disappointing league campaign for the Bees since Dean Smith departed earlier in the season.

Sawyers has been attracting interest from the likes of Aston Villa and West Brom recently, and Leeds should certainly be considering a bid for him in the near future to help aid their promotion bid.

He has a considerable amount of Championship experience, and would be worth the hefty price tag Brentford are likely to command.

Bradley Dack

Blackburn's talisman has lived up to the hype this season, and it's clear to see why there are teams tracking his progress.

Dack has 11 goals to his name in all competitions, and if Leeds were able to strike a deal to bring him to Elland Road, then it would be a major coup.

You have to feel that if Dack was to arrive this month, then it could be the missing piece in Leeds' promotion jigsaw this month.

Angel Gomes

The Manchester United youngster hasn't featured as much as he would have liked to this season, which will be disappointing for the promising talent.

Gomes has made just one substitute appearance for the Red Devils, and his development could be affected if he doesn't move elsewhere on loan for the remainder of this year's campaign.

The 18-year-old could be the perfect addition to the Leeds squad, and could fill the void left by Samuel Saiz who departed in favour of a move to Getafe.
