With the club in its worst state in decades, Manchester United will have a lot of players who are unsettled.

The club sit in fifth in the Premier League and after two years, Louis van Gaal has yet to deliver on his promise of success.

His rigid, possession based philosophy restricts the creative talent in his team. The past two years have seen the likes of Nani, Di Maria, Depay and more recently Mata struggle in the side.

Much of the talent that Van Gaal buys is ruined due to his philosophy and he is unafraid to freeze out those he does not think fit in to his philosophy.

The high spending has done little to deter the fact that Van Gaal is likely the root of the problem. Manchester United are very much toothless lions these days having only scored 28 goals this season.

Their defensive efforts were what set them out from the rest at the start of the campaign but now Van Gaal cannot even use those statistics to defend his philosophy as United have tailed off in recent months defensively.

There are plenty of players looking for a chance at Manchester United and with the club in a dire situation at the moment, there are many who would opt to move elsewhere.

Here are THREE Manchester United players that are destined for the Championship.......

James Wilson

James Wilson does indeed already ply his trade in the Championship with Brighton & Hove Albion, but he is on loan with the club.

With his parent club Manchester United opting to purchase the highly-rated youngster Anthony Martial instead of turning to him for a chance in the first team when United lacked attacking options, Wilson joined Brighton on loan.

He has scored three goals in 11 appearances for the Seagulls and has settled nicely in the Championship.

The striker, who has represented England at U21 level, will be unhappy at the fact he was not given a chance when United's front line was largely depleted and he will again struggle to get a game when he returns to the club.

We could well see James Wilson continue in the Championship for good in the future as United opted to neglect his qualities.

Nick Powell

Powell is regularly touted as someone who will be United's next star, their next breakthrough player. However he simply cannot get into the first team.

He has been loaned out twice in the past two seasons, and had success with Wigan in the 2013/14 season making 32 appearances.

However, after a loan move to Leicester did not work out last season, Powell is now stagnating at United. After an impressive rise through the youth academy ranks his progression has slowed.

He had success with Wigan two years ago in the Championship and given another chance to shine he would surely develop at a fast rate.

Powell is another player we could well see prosper in the Championship much like Wilson is doing now.

Will Keane

Will Keane's brother Michael already performs at Championship level with Burnley and he is tasting success with the club, as he is in the midst of an exciting promotion battle.

However, Will Keane is another player who again and again gets sent out on loan by Manchester United. His brother joined Burnley on loan last season and after securing a permanent deal in the summer, he is enjoying regular football with a club that could well be in the Premier League next season.

The door is always open for Will to leave and while he could wait for his first team chance, Van Gaal's side are not in a state to allow reserve players a run in the first team and he would play more football if he dropped down a league like his brother.

Do you agree that these three will be playing in the Championship in the future? Who else do you think would benefit from a move down a league Let us know in the comments below!
