Derby County are currently third in the Sky Bet Championship table, having accumulated an impressive 37 points in 19 games.

Paul Clement's side will be looking to gain promotion to the Premier League after a seven year absence from England's top flight.

And they are certainly on their way to doing so.

Current boss Clement has done fantastically well to gather a strong squad this season at the iPro Stadium. Summer signings of Jason Shackell, Jacob Butterfield and Bradley Johnson have really galvinised the East Midlands club.

Having a strong squad is of great importance in the Championship, as inevitably injuries will occur throughout the season of 46 games.

The Rams will be looking to avoid making the same mistakes as last season, where they fell away towards of the end of the season, and therefore failed to make the play-offs.

In order to maintain consistency, Clement will be looking to further enhance his squad in January, and where better to look than the biggest club in England - Manchester United.

Andreas Pereira

Clearly, Andreas Pereira has bundles of talent.

The 19-year-old Belgian has already made four appearances for Louis van Gaal's senior team, including one in the UEFA Champions League, and has scored one goal, which was a stunning free kick against Ipswich Town in the Capital One Cup.

Pereira's unpredictability could be a great weapon for Derby when they are trying to unlock defences.

The game time the youngster would get at Derby would undoubtedly speed up his progression as a player.

Paddy McNair

If Derby get any injuries in central defence, they should look to sign Paddy McNair on loan.

McNair is only 20 years of age but has already made 14 appearances for United, including in their last Premier League match against West Ham United last weekend.

He has also impressed so much that he has played for Northern Ireland five times, and could use a loan spell with Derby as a springboard to get himself into the Northern Ireland squad for Euro 2016 at the end of the season.

Guillermo Varela

Guillermo Varela is a right back that was signed for around 2 million euro's by David Moyes in 2013.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with Real Madrid Castilla, and now might be the time for him to get more game experience in England.

Valera could definitely provide good competition for Derby's current first choice right back Cyrus Christie.
