After their 4-0 hammering away to Gillingham on Saturday, Bradford City are in real danger of losing control of their quickly failing season.

The result left the Bantams bottom of the third division with 16 games now played and are now four points adrift of safety.

Hopkin has now lost eight of the ten games he has taken charge of for the club this season since moving south of the border at the start of September.

With five defeats in a row leaving them facing a surprise relegation after flirting with promotion in recent seasons, the pressure is growing both on Hopkin and the Bradford board.

It would be no surprise to see the powers that be at Valley Parade pull the trigger for the second time this season and bring in another manager.

If that is the route they decide to go down, here are three people they should be considering...

Cowley has been highly rated for a long time now and despite looking set to lead Lincoln City into a real promotion push, could be tempted to move to the established Bantams.

He will, of course, come with his brother Nicky with the pair forming an impressive working partnership.

Despite having a tricky time with Shrewsbury in League One, Mellon's impressive rise with Tranmere Rovers from the Conference into the playoff places should give him a real chance at the Bradford job.

A more ambitious option perhaps.

Keith Hill has done a brilliant job with Rochdale since joining in 2013 but he could be tempted to move on to a club who perhaps have a bit more of a scope for growth.
