Burnley are sitting in a healthy position in the league. They are third, only a point behind Middlesbrough and Hull City who vacate the top two positions.
The emergency loan window may be the perfect opportunity to strengthen the squad for the run-in where potential injuries and suspension can hamper a team’s promotion hopes, Dyche may look at a number of Manchester United players who could fit the bill.
Sean Dyche has the knowhow and ability to get not just any team promoted but Burnley promoted. He has built an excellent squad with the help of parachute payments, however, he will still be striving to add quality to the side in the emergency loan market if they are available.
Although Manchester United have struggled under Louis Van Gaal this season, there is still a plethora of talent sitting on the bench and in the reserves that feature as a substitute once a month.
The issue with Premier League sides having such large talented squads is that younger homegrown talent and talent bought from lower league clubs can be isolated on the fringes of the club. Therefore, a loan move wouldn’t only be useful for Burnley but for players themselves.
