Leeds United look to be heading for another season of disappointment as they sit 16th in the league, 11 points above the relegation zone and 14 away from the play-off places.

Steve Evans has struggled to get his team to score goals on a consistent basis, and lamented the club's failure to get certain signings over the line during the January transfer window.

The Scottish manager will no doubt be working with his chairman during the loan window now to try and bring some fresh faces in, to add some much needed fire and impetus in to his starting 11 at the very least.

There are plenty of players knocking about at this time of year on the fringes of their club's first team, and many of these players will be more than happy to take a loan move to enhance their careers and get some much needed game time under their belts.

Here, FLW's Lee Connor takes a look specifically at THREE Man United players Leeds could look to snap up during the loan window......

Will Keane

The striker hit the news this week when he scored five for the Man United reserve team, including an audacious Cantona esque chip.

He clearly has quality, but has just simply found games hard to get at Old Trafford until Louis Van Gaal.

Keane has spent time on loan before, most notably at Sheffield Wednesday last season where he impressed scoring a few goals, and contributing to the team with his overall play and attitude to the team ethic.

Keane was recalled from a loan spell with Preston earlier on the in season, after failing to find the net as much as he would have liked, and is likely to be chomping at the bit for another crack at the Championship.

Marcus Rashford

Another young striker impressing in the youth ranks at Man United is the pacey Rashford.

At 18 he is a very raw talent indeed, but the coaching team at Old Trafford have been impressed with the youngster as he has begun to grow and develop in to this full frame.

A loan move may well be on the cards for Rashford sooner rather than later, as the Old Trafford hierarchy look to get their young players some valuable first team experience.

Steve Evans could use Rashford across his front line to add pace and power to his side's attacking play.

Andreas Pereira

It has been a strange season for Pereira, who at times has threatened to really make an impact on the team, before seemingly falling away just as things begin to look up.

The 20- year-old Belgian born midfielder has long been billed as one of the next big things at Old Trafford, but for one reason or another has found time on the field limited.

He may well see a loan move as beneficial, and he would be a real coup for Steve Evans and his Leeds side. Capable of playing in numerous attacking positions, Pereira would offer something which the Elland Road outfit are currently missing.

It could be just the chance he needs to prove himself going in to next season.
