Leeds go into the international break on a good run of form after extending their unbeaten run to five games following last weekend's 2-1 home win over Blackburn.

The run now leaves Leeds in third position in the league and they currently trail league leaders West Brom by two points, a gap that Marcelo Bielsa will be desperate to shorten over the next few weeks.

However, Bielsa will be pleased that his side have been able to build momentum before the international break after re-building after a difficult spell earlier in the season, which saw his side lose two in three matches against Charlton and Millwall.

With potential injuries and returning players, Bielsa is faced with a number of headaches at present which he will have to rectify for the next fixture against Luton Town.

Here are three headaches Marcelo Bielsa will have at Leeds United this week.

Cooper's potential injury

With Liam Cooper leaving the field on 72 minutes against Blackburn last week with a small tear to his groin, the Scotland centre back missed out on international duty and remained at Leeds instead so the club can monitor his fitness.

If the Leeds captain was unavailable for next weekends's match, he would be a huge loss for Leeds if unfit as his partnership with Ben White has been instrumental in Leeds maintaining one of the best defences in the league.

The duo have started 11 matches together this season but Cooper's absence would see Gaetano Berardi return to the starting 11.

Dropping points away

Despite extending their unbeaten run to five matches with a win over Blackburn, Marcelo Bielsa will be aware of his team's lack of points secured away from home recently.

Leeds are yet to win on the road since the 15th of September when they beat Barnsley 2-1. Since then, they have only gained two away points from a possible 12, which has slowed their progress for automatic promotion.

With a trip to struggling Luton after the international break, Bielsa will be targeting a win here to keep pressure on Preston and West Brom at the top of the table.

Playing Pablo Hernandez

Pablo Hernandez has recently returned to fitness for Leeds after a spell on the sidelines, after picking up a muscle injury against Derby.

Hernandez has featured from the bench in the last two fixtures but with Bielsa naming unchanged sides in the consecutive victories against Blackburn and QPR, it could be the case that he does the same against Luton.

However, Hernandez's return is sure to give Bielsa a selection headache, especially after Helder Costa's disappointing start for Leeds after joining from Wolves in the summer.
