Liverpool currently sit in ninth place in the Barclays Premier League, after a run of three games without a win and having just won eight games all season.

The latest loss to rivals Manchester United mean they are now eight points off the Champions League places, requiring a remarkable turn of form to return to Europe's elite for 2016/17.

However, Liverpool are still regarded as having one of the best academies in English football.

With players like Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling and Tom Ince having gone through the academy for at least part of their development, they have a proven track record of developing some high-quality players.

Here are THREE players that should consider moving to a Championship club this month to further their careers.....

Jerome Sinclair

Jerome Sinclair is a 19-year old striker, who has made three league appearances for the Merseyside club. His latest, and only this season, was in the 2-2 draw with Exeter in the FA Cup third round proper earlier this month. He scored Liverpool's first equaliser in that match.

The Englishman has previously had a loan spell at Wigan Athletic whilst in the Championship, where he played one game. However, the youngster has matured since then and many Liverpool fans think he is able to compete for a regular spot amongst many Championship sides.

In addition to this, the Liverpool Echo reports that Sinclair will leave Anfield at the end of his contract in the Summer. With European clubs circling, it is apparently undecided in the young man's mind whether he wants to stay in the country or go abroad. Liverpool will want to sell Sinclair to a English club, because if he signs for a non-English side then the Reds only get £250,000 of compensation, where they could make more if he drops down the English pyramid.

With Sinclair looking set to leave, and the club preferring him to stay in the country, this opens up the Championship as a potential destination. He would fit in well at a number of sides, and may possibly be a shot in the dark for Wolves as they look to replace Benik Afobe.

Adam Bogdan

The Hungarian signed for Liverpool on a free transfer from Bolton in the summer of 2015. However, he has been unable to displace Simon Mignolet as Jurgen Klopp's number one 'keeper.

Bogdan has made just five appearances for the club, and only one in the Premier League, a 3-0 defeat to Watford. He has even been dropped as the club's Capital One Cup goalkeeper for regular number one Mignolet.

To add more misery to the 28-year old, it appears that he has been dropped from Liverpool's bench following the return of Danny Ward.

Ward was on loan at Aberdeen, before being recalled earlier this month. He kept 10 clean sheets in 21 games for the Scottish side, and was placed on the bench ahead of Bogdan for Liverpool's recent matches against Arsenal and Manchester United.

With Bogdan now facing long spells without a game, he could look to jump ship this month, and, as a proven Championship quality 'keeper, could fit into most sides. With Fulham leaking goals, Bogdan may see the Cottagers as an opportunity to rekindle his career and make a difference at the West London side.

Jose Enrique

The former Newcastle left-back signed for the Reds on 11th August 2011, and has made 118 appearances for the club. However, the Spaniard has been playing a bit-part figure since injuries hampered 2013/14 season, making just 14 appearances since then.

His one appearance this season came in the FA Cup third round proper, and appears that Enrique is no longer a central part of Liverpool's ambitions, with fellow countryman Alberto Moreno their first choice left back.

As well as this, the Liverpool Echo reported that Klopp will allow Enrique to leave this month.

At 29 years old his career is far from finished, however a move to the Championship looks to be a positive way to extend this. A move to Middlesbrough, Hull or Burnley could see the Spaniard back in the top flight playing against his former team next season.
