As Leeds United are sat in 16th position, 14 points below Sheffield Wednesday who vacate the last play-off spot and 11 points off the relegation zone, they are marooned in mid-table.

There is a worry that the season may fizzle out without anything other than potentially an FA Cup run to look forward to.

With the ambition of the fans and playing staff focusing on mounting a promotion challenge next season, Steve Evans may attempt to bring an exciting loan signing or a potential future signing into the club.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have had a turbulent season with Brendan Rodgers being replaced Jurgen Klopp.

Due to injury issues, Klopp has had to use some of the younger talents to fill the gaps.

However as Liverpool are now out of the FA Cup and the senior players are coming back to full fitness, there may be players that are loaned out to get regular first team football.

Ryan Kent

Thr first player who could potentially join the West Yorkshire side is Ryan Kent. The Oldham-born winger would be a versatile asset for Steve Evans.

The winger can play both on the left and right and would provide some excellent competition for fellow loanee Mustapha Carayol as well as Stuart Dallas.

He is an exciting, dynamic player that looks to beat players in one on one situations and enjoys running at the heart of defences. There is no doubt that he would have the Leeds fans on the edge of their seat.

Ryan Kent has already been out on loan this season at Coventry City where he impressed for the League One side, as he made 17 appearances and quickly became a fan favourite.

Klopp may look to loan the winger out again, this time, at a higher level to a Championship club and Leeds United would be one of the better options.

Jordan Rossiter

One of the most promising and highly thought of talents within Liverpool's youth setup is Jordan Rossiter.

The central midfielder has been dubbed as the 'next Steven Gerrard' - as he shares a lot of the same attributes that Gerrard did at his age. Despite his tender age, he is a leader and an authoritative figure in the centre of midfield.

Rossiter has also demonstrated that he has an excellent variety and range of passes in his repertoire. He has also shown that he has an eye for goal and his goals from midfield would be welcome at Leeds United who have had some difficulty in front of goal.

In Rossiter's maiden appearance for the first team, he scored from 30-yards to help Liverpool beat Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup in September 2014.

Although this season, he has been plagued with a hamstring injury, as he is returning to full fitness, Jurgen Klopp may loan him out to get him match fit and also to help enhance his development which regular first-team football at such a high level provides.

Sheyi Ojo

The final player that could join Leeds United in the emergency loan window is Sheyi Ojo.

Of the three players that this article has looked at, Ojo is the furthest developed and would be a welcome addition to any Championship side.

Like Kent, Ojo is a versatile winger who can play on either flank. Where Ojo differs from Kent is that he provides a more athletic direct edge to his game. Ojo needs to work on the technical side to his game if he is to eventually break through at Liverpool.

However at the moment, purely his raw pace and power would be a nightmare to defend against and he could quickly become a fan favourite at Elland Road.

The winger has already had two stints in the Championship. He played for Wigan Athletic last season and he featured prominently for Wolves before being recalled as additional cover for a threadbare squad.

Now injury concerns are lowering, Ojo may be available for a third loan stint. These loan spells are providing invaluable experience and with Leeds short of wide options, he may be the perfect fit.
