Lewis Grabban has been a great signing for Nottingham Forest this season, leading the line well on occasions.

For the relatively low price they paid, he has yielded a good return.

Forest have yearned for a 20-goal striker for many years now, and Grabban may be the answer to that, even if he just falls short this year.

Despite his good form, if Forest were to go up, Grabban is not good enough for the Premier League.

While it is still a huge ‘if’, Forest must start thinking about strikers they could sign to upgrade on Grabban if they were to win the play-offs.

Here, we list three of those…

Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham may sound audacious, but if Forest were to go up, it would mean Villa haven’t.

This would allow Forest a good chance of securing Abraham on loan.

He certainly looks ready for the Premier League after his year at Villa, and this would be a great signing.

Dwight Gayle

Dwight Gayle has excelled at West Brom this season and looks ready for a move back to the Premier League.

He is still tied to Newcastle, and a club like Forest would be great if they did go up.

Oliver McBurnie

Oliver McBurnie looks a striker that could easily transition into a Premier League player.

He would be an upgrade on Grabban and potentially grab some goals in the Premier League, with his knack of knowing where the goal is.
