It's evident that Leeds United don't know what direction they are going in, they have an outlandish owner in Massimo Cellino whom you can never tell what he's going to do next, they are 13th in the table under manager Steve Evans, though on the pitch, things have been improving.

Yet Sam Byram looks certain to leave for the Premier League with West Ham the most likely destination, although new clubs are being linked with the versatile player everyday.

There could be more players that leave the Yorkshire club, during this January transfer window, where would that leave Leeds United?

It is not clear if Steve Evans has any funds for player recruitment, but if the top players do go and Leeds' form dips, Evans could also be on his way out of Yorkshire.

So who else could follow Sam Byram out of Leeds United in the January transfer window? Here are THREE possible players that could leave this month.....

Charlie Taylor

The Leeds United defender has made 19 appearances this season and has a goal to his name, and was being tracked earlier in the year by Manchester United.

Taylor had a loan spell last season with Fleetwood Town which ultimately helped get him a new contract from Leeds in the summer.

Since his loan move, Taylor has not looked back, and his eye-catching performances in the Leeds rear guard have earned him plenty of plaudits and admirers, which may lead to bids being submitted for the full-back.

Alex Mowatt

Another Leeds star on the radar of the Premier League is Alex Mowatt.

Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the central midfielder in the past, and it would be no surprise to see the Reds move for the excellent midfielder again.

Mowatt has impressed in the heart of the Leeds United midfield, making 21 appearances and scoring two goals in the league.

Fellow Championship side Hull City were also interested, but it seems if the player is to leave Elland Road, the Premier League would be his destination, over a team still in the same league as Leeds.

Casper Sloth

Signed for Leeds in August 2014, Sloth has struggled to make the breakthrough into the first eleven since arriving.

Sloth will undoubtedly be frustrated at the lack of game time at the Yorkshire club, despite some dazzling displays in the reserves.

He will surely be seeking a way out of Elland Road in this January transfer window, as it is clear he is not in Steve Evans' first-team plans.

Just over a year ago he was staring for Denmark against England at Wembley, now he plays reserve team football, it's fair to say the move to Yorkshire has been a disaster for Casper Sloth.
