Leeds United have seemingly lost their way of late, giving up a healthy lead in the Championship table to fall to second this weekend.

The manner of their defeat will concern the home fans, Norwich City were able to combat the Whites threat whilst also inflicting their own style of play on the fixture.

It led to a dismal afternoon for Marcelo Bielsa and has left him with several key issues to address ahead of another important match this weekend. With five defeats in seven across all competitions, their current form has to be a concern.

They travel to promotion hunting Middlesbrough in the weekend's early kick off, but there's clearly a lot to do before then.

Whether it is resolve team issues, find a slightly new method of playing or even alter his own pre-match routine, Marcelo Bielsa has at least three things he must address before the big game.

We look at some of the issues facing him this weekend.

Early team news

Bielsa loves giving his opponents an early look at the line up he intends to play, but is he showing his hand far too early? Would not giving Boro the same advantage be an admission by the Argentinian manager that he has been wrong?

Surely, if his preparation is as meticulous and ground-breaking as he believes, the last thing he should be doing is giving the opponent any help at all.

Injured players

Izzy Brown hasn't featured yet this season, but he has been involved in the Under 23 set up on a regularly basis recently. Given the recent results, is it time for the Chelsea man to start showing why he was brought in this summer?

Similarly, when will Patrick Bamford get a start? Roofe has bagged just once in six matches, but Bamford came on to grab himself one this weekend, just as he did on his last outing against Bolton.

Phillips or Forshaw

Adam Forshaw has been playing the holding midfield role, but as the weeks have worn on he's looked less comfortable than Kalvin Phillips. Phillips had seriously impressed during the first part of the season and with him in the role the Leeds line up has a certain flexibility, sometimes dropping almost to a back three with wing backs.

Dropping a player now could be damaging to their morale, but Leeds have to do something to get back on track.
