Coventry City have had an impressive season upon their return to League One, with Mark Robins guiding the Sky Blues to the cusp of the play-offs.

They currently sit in ninth place with eight games left of the current season, but just two points behind Peterborough United who sit in sixth.

Considering the off-field problems engulfing the club over past seasons, the job Robins has done is not to be scoffed at.

There are also plenty of top performing players who deserve a lot of credit too.

Tom Bayliss has been crucial in the middle of the park, whilst Connor Chaplin, Bright Enobakhare and Amadou Bakayoko have been lethal in attack.

But it is the other end of the pitch that has attracted attention in recent weeks and specifically goalkeeper Lee Burge.

The 26-year-old has been consistently solid all season and that has not gone unnoticed, with Championship side Hull City reportedly interested in bringing him in, according to HITC.

So, who could the Sky Blues move for if they were to lose Burge in the summer?

Here are THREE options…

David Stockdale

The experienced shot-stopper spent a short spell on loan at the Ricoh earlier this year and is somebody who Robins clearly rates.

With his time at Birmingham seemingly crashing to an end soon, it would be a solid move for the club and player.

Lee Nichols

The MK Dons shot-stopper has kept 13 clean sheets already this season through the club’s rise to the promotion places of League Two.

Given Coventry’s elevated position, they could surely tempt the 26-year-old away in the summer and to the Ricoh.

Luke McGee

Highly rated during his time with Peterborough United and Portsmouth, McGee has fallen out of favour at Fratton Park.

He has shown himself to be a decent League One goalkeeper and would be a sensible target for Robins in the summer.
