With the season all but over for the Millers, up next is an interesting summer transfer window.

There is heated debate about Neil Warnock and whether he will stay at the club for a full season to come and this will be the first transfer window in four years where Steve Evans has not been at the helm.

Usually a flurry of signings would be brought in alongside a pre-season tour to Scotland but this summer there is a lot more to ponder for Tony Stewart's club.

Plenty of players are on the books to leave while new contracts must be sorted out for vital players such as Kirk Broadfoot, Richard Wood and Matty Derbyshire. Adam Collin is one of a small number who are still at the club from their 2013/14 Wembley play-off final and the loved 'keeper looks like he could leave.

As for players like Emmanuel Ledesma, Jerome Thomas and Luciano Becchio, a move away from the club looks highly likely. With those two strikers likely to leave and with Matty Derbyshire out of contract, there are plenty of players who could come in to replace them.

Here are THREE League One strikers who Rotherham could sign in the summer.

Jon Obika

Obika

Jon Obika has just rejected a new Swindon Town contract and the 11 goal striker has just had a very decent season.

This season he has looked fitter, stronger and more dangerous in front of goal than in recent years and the 25 year-old has plenty of time left to develop.

He has scored 19 goals in 64 appearances at Swindon and this season has been his best yet. If no-one swoops in for him now then he could fully flourish next season.

Paddy Madden

Paddy Madden has had the best season of his career yet with 20 goals this season.

The Irish striker has always been highly rated and with over 150 appearances under his belt for League One and League Two sides - the time has come for him to step up to the Championship.

Scunthorpe just missed out on the play-offs on goal difference to Barnsley and should Madden want a bigger challenge, Rotherham is a club where he could become first choice striker.

Tom Bradshaw

bradshawmn

Walsall's Tom Bradshaw is only 23, but he has already scored 50 career goals. He has 17 this season as Walsall have made the play-offs and if the Saddlers do not reach promotion then a striker of his quality and ambition will likely be open to a move away.

He has made just under 70 appearances for Walsall and has averaged a goal every two games in his time at the West Midland club.

A move to the Championship with Rotherham would present a new challenge at a new level and there is no doubt that in a few years time he will likely be a force in the Championship if he does not move this summer.
