Norwich City's fate has officially been sealed and they will be returning to the Championship next season, after just the one season back in the top flight.

Alex Neil though has done a good job in the main, and there should be no shame in him playing a part in relegation, after guiding the club to promotion last term when it was least expected.

The main thing which has halted the club this term has been a lack of goals, and it might well have been a mistake for Neil to allow the likes of Gary Hooper to leave looking back at the season.

League One can sometimes be a hot bed for striking talent, and plenty of strikers this season have found the back of the net with regularity.

Looking at this, here are THREE strikers from League One who Norwich should look to sign for next season......

Nicky Ajose

Ajose just missed out on the top scorer title in League One this term, as Will Grigg found excellent form since the turn of the year.

But, it must be remembered that Ajose scored 24 goals, just 1 less than Grigg, in a team which spent the most part of the season among the bottom 10 clubs.

Ajose is an excellent finisher with a brilliant turn of pace to go with it, and looks a sure fire transfer target for a host of clubs in the summer window.

Norwich could do a lot worse than sign him, and he would more or less guarantee goals next term.

Che Adams

The 19-year-old Sheffield United forward has already attracted interest from a host of clubs in the Championship and Premier League, and the time might be right to swoop for Adams with the Blades in a bit of turmoil.

11 goals this term in his first full season in professional football is not something to be sniffed at, and he really does have all the potential to be a top player.

Pace, strength, and excellent when one on one, Adams could well deliver the goods in the Championship down at Carrow Road.

Lee Gregory

Millwall might yet be promoted come the end of the season, meaning Gregory gets his shot in the Championship anyway, but if not, Alex Neil would be wise to make a move.

Bags of strength and power and just a natural finisher, Gregory is probably the closest thing to the next Jamie Vardy due to his non league background.

18 goals this season have backed that up strongly, and he will be hoping to fire the Lions to glory in the play offs over the next few weeks.

Manager Neil Harris will know he has a fight on his hands to keep Gregory, should the club miss out on promotion.
