Wolves have had a very inconsistent campaign so far and currently find themselves lingering down in 16th place in the Sky Bet Championship.

There has been signs of improvement since former Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert took the reigns at Molinuex, and the Scotsman has only tasted 3 defeats from his first 10 games in charge of the club.

January looks to be a crucial month as Lambert looks to put his own personal stamp on the squad he inherited from Walter Zenga.

It is in my opinion that Lambert should potentially delve into League One this January and potentially look to poach some of the leagues most talented individuals.

This article is going to take a look at THREE gems currently plying their trade in League One that the club could potentially look to bring in this month....

Jermaine Anderson

Jermaine Anderson is certainly one player that Paul Lambert could look to poach from League One this month.

The former Arsenal trainee has already made over 50 appearances for The Posh, and has been touted by many as possessing both the physical and technical attributes to comfortably make the step up to the second tier.

AdTech Ad Anderson is a very technically gifted midfielder who is very comfortable on the ball. He has a great range of passing, but he is also not afraid of a tackle and will stick his foot in when needed.

His potential has been recognised at international level, with Anderson being capped by England at both Under-18 and Under-20 level.

Matt Taylor

Bristol Rovers hotshot Matt Taylor is one of the hottest properties around at the moment.

Taylor was instrumental in Rovers's remarkable promotion last year as he finished the season on a staggering goal tally of 27, as well as chipping in with 5 assists also.

His goalscoring exploits have continued into this season and the 26 year old currently finds himself sitting as the 3rd top scorer in the league with 15 goals to his name.

Taylor hasn't been fazed at all with the step up in quality and it appears

Zach Clough

The final player that Wolves should look to pluck from League One this month is Bolton Wanderers star Zach Clough.

Clough burst onto the scene towards the back end of the 2014/15 campaign, when he scored a remarkable six goals in ten games for the Bolton senior team.

The form he showed towards the end of that campaign led to him being a regular fixture in the starting line-up throughout the 2015/16 season, when he made 27 appearances and scored seven goals.

He is an excellent finisher and has the knack of being able to stay ice cool in front of goal, despite his lack of first team experience, and would be well suited to The Championship.
