The Leeds United promotion train continued this weekend as the Whites battled to an impressive 3-2 away victory at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites are doing everything right at the moment and thanks to the win, they go to 26 points and into the top six for the first time this season.

The match-winner was Ronaldo Viera, who popped up in the last minute to ensure all three points went back to Yorkshire. And thanks to Viera’s 25-yard-effort, Leeds now sit in sixth place in the Championship table.

But we want to take a look at the key men in the win over the Canaries, who are beginning to come under some pressure after a series of disappointing results.

Is the axe about to be wielded on Alex Neil's head and do Leeds have what it takes to continue pushing in the table?

Thus, FootballLeagueWorld writer Hayden Atkins identifies THREE key players from Leeds United’s win over Neil’s Norwich City…

Pontus Jansson

The signing of Swedish defender Pontus Jansson is a massive factor in Leeds’ massive upturn in form, especially after their early-season struggles.

He dispatched a goal in the win over the Canaries and as always was solid at the back as Leeds battled to victory at Carrow Road.

It was yet another display that showed why the Whites should seriously consider making a move for the Torino man at the end of the season, regardless of what division they end up in.

Chris Wood

Despite his early season disappointment, Chris Wood has continued to improve and grabbed yet another goal in this Leeds United victory.

The New Zealand international has now dispatched on 11 occasions for his side this season and without his goals, the Whites would be having nowhere near as much success as they have enjoyed.

He provides a real target upfront and with the pace Leeds have on their wings, he makes for an ideal centre forward to get on the end of as many crosses as possible.

Wes Hoolahan

Even at 34 years of age, Wes Hoolahan continues to pull the strings in this Norwich City side and despite the Canaries losing, he was impressive.

He provides a real threat going forward and whilst he may not be blessed with fantastic pace, his ability to move the ball on quickly is still instrumental to Norwich's success.

They’re having a tough time of it right now but if there’s anyone that can help turn the club’s fortunes around, it’s the Irish international.
