Wolves won the Championship title in style on Saturday with a thumping 4-0 win over lowly Bolton in what was a very impressive showing from Nuno Espirito Santo's men.

After a frenetic start that saw both sides spurn decent chances, Wolves took the lead through Barry Douglas and didn't look back, with Benik Afobe, Diogo Jota and Connor Coady completing the rout.

However, that first goal was critical and once again it was Douglas who delivered for the Black Country side in a tight moment.

He was quickest to react after Afobe's effort was saved to grab his fifth goal of the season.

Those goals, combined with 14 assists, make him easily one of the best signings in the league after he joined from Turkish side Konyaspor in the summer for just £1m.

As our graphic shows, the Scotland international was on his game from the first whistle at the Macron Stadium.

His three key passes highlight just how effective he is in the final third, which is why he excels in the wing-back role that Santo uses. That allows him the license to get forward and in those positions he is a major threat because of the quality he produces from his left-foot.

As well as that, he was strong in the air which helped the visitors easily deal with the more direct approach that Bolton favour.

Ultimately, it was another assured, positive performance from the Wolves man. Whilst some of his talented teammates might attract most of the attention, Douglas is proof of the class throughout Santo's team, which is exactly why they are champions.
