Brentford have struggled to hold onto their better players over recent years and they face another battle to keep hold of some key men this summer too.

Defender Chris Mepham is attracting interest from Bournemouth, whilst Florian Jozefzoon is wanted by both Derby and Leeds United, with the Rams having a £1.5m bid rejected for the winger.

However, the worrying aspect for the Bees regarding Jozefzoon is that he only has one year left on his contract at Griffin Park.

That means they could be inclined to cash in on the former PSV man who has played 58 games for the London outfit since arriving in 2017.

He would be a big loss to Dean Smith, as Jozefzoon has impressed with his pace, dribbling ability and technique during the previoud campaign.

And, here we look at three potential replacements if the Bees do cash in on the 27-year old...

This would be an ambitious move as Celtic are interested but if Wilson wants to stay in England the Bees seem a good fit.

He was quality for Hull last season, scoring vital goals and playing very well. It would only be a loan but the Welsh international could light up the Championship.

This would me more of a risk as Graham didn't play much football last season at either Wolves or in an unsuccessful loan spell with Fulham.

However, he is a real talent and if Smith could get him back to his best he could flourish in the second-tier. He has electric pace, great delivery and will be available from the Premier League side.

This may be controversial as he moved to Birmingham from Brentford 12 months ago but in terms of ability he would add to this team.

Jota was a star at Griffin Park, scored goals, weighed in with assists and was one of the best players in the league. It hasn't happened for him at Blues and whilst it may be a difficult deal financially, Jota could slot back in at Brentford and would be a major help for a promotion push.
